Birth and Baby Bootcamp

This bootcamp series is a combination of some of our most popular prenatal classes. This series covers materials from our Preparing for Childbirth class, our Getting Ready for Baby class, and our Breastfeeding class all in one weekend. It is a great way to meet other expectant parents, as well as learn about labor and delivery, comfort measures, breastfeeding, what to expect when caring for a newborn and much more. This class is designed to be taken when you're around 28 weeks pregnant or later.

Please Note: Baby Boot Camp runs from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break around noon. Participants are welcome to bring lunch from home or leave campus to grab a bite nearby. A refrigerator and microwave are available on-site for your convenience. We encourage you to bring a partner and dress comfortably—you’ll be sitting, learning, and participating in hands-on activities throughout the day.

This is a 3-day class: 2 virtual classes followed by an in-person class. the In-person portion of this class is at Washington Twp Hospital, 435 Hurffville-Cross Keys Rd., Sewell, NJ 08080. Jefferson Health uses a curriculum that supports and empowers expectant women and families to make informed decisions when giving birth. Your instructor will discuss pain relief options, including massage, relaxation, breathing techniques, and medical procedures. This series includes labor, birth, the postpartum period, relaxation and massage techniques to alleviate pain, newborn care and more. This class series includes a tour of the Maternity units.

Please Note: In this hybrid series, the first two class sessions are virtual, and the third session meets in-person. With your registration, you will be added to the third class in-person date. Additionally, completion of the virtual classes is required to attend the in-person session.

Preparing for Childbirth - Two Day Series

This is an “express” version of the Preparing for Childbirth one day class. This childbirth class will help build your confidence in your body's ability to give birth. You can discuss your fears about labor and birth with the instructor and other participants with the same concerns. If a partner is present, they will learn about childbirth and how to support you on the big day. You may find that attending childbirth classes together will create a special bond. The class content includes labor, birth, and the early postpartum period with a focus on alleviating pain during labor with relaxation techniques. Please note: This is a 5-hour condensed version of the Preparing for Childbirth one-day class.

Birth and Baby Bootcamp

This bootcamp series is a combination of some of our most popular prenatal classes. This series covers materials from our Preparing for Childbirth class, our Getting Ready for Baby class, and our Breastfeeding class all in one weekend. It is a great way to meet other expectant parents, as well as learn about labor and delivery, comfort measures, breastfeeding, what to expect when caring for a newborn and much more. This class is designed to be taken when you're around 28 weeks pregnant or later.

Please Note: Baby Boot Camp runs from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break around noon. Participants are welcome to bring lunch from home or leave campus to grab a bite nearby. A refrigerator and microwave are available on-site for your convenience. We encourage you to bring a partner and dress comfortably—you’ll be sitting, learning, and participating in hands-on activities throughout the day.

Maternity Tour

Expectant parents planning to give birth at a Jefferson Health birthing location are warmly invited to attend one of our in-person maternity tours. These tours offer a valuable opportunity to visit the Labor and Delivery Units before your baby arrives. During the tour, you'll have plenty of time to ask questions about hospital policies, procedures, and what to expect during your stay.

Please double-check that you are registering for the correct birthing facility to ensure your tour aligns with your planned delivery location.

This is a 3-day class: 2 virtual classes followed by an in-person class. the In-person portion of this class is at Washington Twp Hospital, 435 Hurffville-Cross Keys Rd., Sewell, NJ 08080. Jefferson Health uses a curriculum that supports and empowers expectant women and families to make informed decisions when giving birth. Your instructor will discuss pain relief options, including massage, relaxation, breathing techniques, and medical procedures. This series includes labor, birth, the postpartum period, relaxation and massage techniques to alleviate pain, newborn care and more. This class series includes a tour of the Maternity units.

Please Note: In this hybrid series, the first two class sessions are virtual, and the third session meets in-person. With your registration, you will be added to the third class in-person date. Additionally, completion of the virtual classes is required to attend the in-person session.
